The Sanger Family marched for women’s lives on April 25, 2004. I don’t recall that my grandmother ever staged a march for birth control. She often was marched to and from police stations, but she never staged a march on Washington.

We Can’t Rely on the Senate Democrats to Save Roe
Many voters who believe in abortion rights plan to vote for President Bush in November. They have a variety of reasons, but lurking not far beneath the surface is the belief that the President won’t appoint a Justice to the Supreme Court who will vote to overturn Roe v. Wade, or, if he did, the Senate Democrats would not permit it and would filibuster the nomination as they have done for several of Bush’s more radical appointees–Judge Pickering being one example.

The Launch of Beyond Choice
My book, Beyond Choice, was officially launched at the Lenox Hill Bookstore on Monday evening Feb 2, 2004. The store was packed with over 100 friends and colleagues, and the store practically sold out of books. I spoke for about ten minutes about what caused me to write the book.
